I’m thrilled to share some exciting news—my upcoming book, Healing from Betrayal, Infidelity, and Problematic Sexual Behaviors: A Guide to Individual and Relational Recovery, is on its way to publication with Routledge/Taylor & Francis!
This book has been years in the making, born from my deep commitment to supporting individuals and relationships through some of life’s most painful and complex experiences. Whether you’ve been impacted by betrayal or have acted in ways that caused harm, this guide is designed to walk with you on the path toward healing—with clarity, compassion, and practical tools to help you move forward.
Grounded in the Connected Recovery™ model, the book offers a clear framework for navigating early, middle, and late stages of recovery. Along the way, readers will find strategies for cultivating emotional safety, deepening self-awareness, and building relational empathy. There’s also an entire chapter dedicated to parenting after betrayal—an often-overlooked but incredibly important part of the healing journey.
What sets this book apart is its commitment to inclusivity. It’s written using gender-neutral pronouns and affirming language to support people of all genders, sexual and relational orientations, and cultural backgrounds.
My hope is that Healing from Betrayal becomes a trusted companion for those doing the hard, courageous work of repair—whether as individuals, couples, or families. Healing is possible. And you don’t have to walk through it alone.
This book has been a long time coming—a resource born out of years of walking with individuals and relationships through some of their hardest seasons. It covers the full arc of recovery (early, middle, and late), and includes practical tools for things like building emotional safety, growing self-awareness and empathy, and rediscovering healthy sexuality. There's even a chapter on parenting after betrayal—something rarely talked about, but so important.
